The Peninsula needs a new approach to politics and policy. Political and economic upheaval requires a firm, focused, realistic, balanced policy agenda, a policy agenda that delivers economic vitality, infrastructure sufficiency, labor and business harmony and responsive local and county decision making priorities.
Leaders in the business, labor and political communities have joined together to form the Peninsula Coalition. The Coalition advocates for, and helps fund worthwhile activities and initiatives on a local and county-wide level. The Coalition is funded by Coalition members, who will guide us as we set priorities and move forward.
The Peninsula Coalition carries out its mission through several programs. The Peninsula Forward Project – a series of televised panel discussions on public policy, The Peninsula History Project – an ongoing study of our history and our people through televised biographies, features and interviews and our Community Honors Dinner in recognition of outstanding Peninsula citizens.
